A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!

6 months old. I love this age!! It is really easy to get them to look at you and smile. You don't really have to work hard at it, especially with this one!! All smiles...a natural with the camera. I was pretty tempted to steal her but I resisted.

*sigh* It's Summer

Finally..some hot weather. We knew this year would be easier to gather up the kids and some food and head out on the boat. Paige is still difficult but if I stick close to her..she does just fine. We got to "Party Island" before the partiers and it was so relaxing!! Evan and Craig played frisbee and Paige and I dipped our feet in the water. I am not ready to go swimming just yet! Here are some pics of this past weekend....

My Little Man

Here is my little man...growing up too fast. Starting school in the fall and way too excited about it! Asking if he can ride the bus..what!?!? You don't want to stay home and spend every minute with your mom. You aren't going to be grabbing my leg and crying that you don't want to go to school. Oh well..I guess you can be independent but I don't have to like it!

Most Challenging Subject

I figured I would take on one of my biggest challenges...photographing my daughter. You see, you ask any photographer and they will say that one of the hardest things to do is to take a good picture of your kids. For some reason, they don't listen to you and could care less that you have a camera pointed at their face. I figured I would start with Paige (hardest) and then work with Evan (hard when it comes to getting a natural smile) and then get the two of them together (yikes! haven't dared that one quite yet). Paige was easy.....I gave myself less than 20 minutes and if I didn't get what I wanted, I would try again later. I got it! Here are my favs!

Memorial Day

We had a fun filled, beautiful weather Memorial Weekend. This is the 3rd year in a row that was sunny and warm. The kids kept us busy but that's the way we like it.

Evan was busy catching caterpillars and playing with the crickets. He gave them names. His caterpillar was "Feepy" and his cricket..what else?? Jimminy! I was in the cottage and Evan didn't know I was there and I overheard him talking to "Feepy" Apparently he left him on the step while Evan used the bathroom and when he came back..Feepy was gone. This is what I heard from him

"Oh Feepy, where are you?" Oh Feepy, I should've been watching you!" I was laughing so hard. What a little sweetheart! He did find him and all was good after that.

Even my little girly girl was running around holding caterpillars with her big brother.
