My Easter Eggs

I remember when I was a little girl, getting brand new shoes and a beautiful dress for Easter. And I also remember it was always too cold to wear them but this year was nice so Paige got to wear her outfit. She was in HEAVEN!

How cute are they!?!?!

Easter Eggs and A Big Scary Bunny!!

The Easter Egg "Hunt"

Can you see the fear in her eyes???? Look at her grip on me! This past weekend we went to LifeChurch's 3rd annual Easter Egg hunt. Our good friends Eric and Heather attend the church and invited the kids to come! Although it wasn't much of a hunt, just hundreds of eggs thrown onto a field but the kids had a blast! It was super cold out but the kids grabbed as many eggs as they could. They also got tattoos, did crafts, had popcorn and jelly beans, drank juice boxes and bounced in a bounce house. Evan even won a drawing for a McDonald's gift card!!
Paige was scared to death of the Easter bunny. We even showed her that it was Eric Klein-Wassink underneath but she wasn't having it! She wanted NOTHING to do with him. The picture of the 3 of us..Paige is grabbing the back of my neck so hard cause she didn't want to go near him.
The kids got goody bags full of candy, pencils, tattoos, stickers, chalk and lots of other stuff. It was nice to see an Easter Egg hunt that also had Jesus in the theme.

Do I sense a pattern here?????

Oh Paige. My dear youngest child. I don't know what to do with you.

This past week Paige was twirling around the living room when she fell on one of Evan's dinosaurs. Of course it was the only one with hard spikes on the top. It wouldn't stop bleeding so I took her into urgent care. Some glue and tape...all better! Her baby came with and the nurses put a bandage on baby as well. She was so brave and I know it has to do with the fact that she is used to doctors, hospitals and people in her face all the time. She had some tears but did wonderful. I kept looking at her and saying..."I am supposed to be here with Evan..not you!"Right?? Aren't boys supposed to have cuts and stitches?? I guess I better get used to it
The picture on top was taken last spring with she fell against a vase and I watched it swell in front of my eyes...oh Paige......
