Dinosaurs!!!!

This past Saturday we took the kids to the Van Andel Museum. They have a dinosaur exhibit until the end of May. But we also walked through the entire thing. The kids liked it. They got to ride the carousal. The last time I rode it, I was 18 and at my senior prom. Oh the memories~!

All through the furniture history was this talking man...he was a wax-like figure and would talk when you walked in front of him. Paige was scared to death of this man...she didn't like him at all. She would want to walk but as soon as she saw him...she would go running into our arms! It was really funny. I have been there numerous times for dances but never once have I walked through and looked at everything. It was interesting. I really enjoy reading all the history but having a 4 year old and a 2 year old running around...I had to make sure they didn't break any priceless artifact first!!

After we were done..we went to McDonalds or Ocdonalds as Paige calls it. It was a fun day with the family!

Also..keep this family in your prayers. She is an excellant blogger with a incredible storyhttp://www.mycharmingkids.blogspot.com/

Pretty Please??????

Please Spring come back. Not for a day or two. Come back for good. We need you. We need your warm breeze, or sunshine, or ability to bring the beautiful flowers to life. We want to play outside without big, puffy winter jackets on. Please come back

Glasses

Evan got his glasses last week. He looks so cute! And he loves them! You know it helps him see since he doesn't touch them or even try and take them off. The picture of the sunglasses was after he got his eyes dilated. Its make your eyes very sensitive to light so he wore his sunglasses all day...even inside!

Look whos 4!!!

My baby boy is 4! He had a great birthday party! Craig got him a pinata and he got to pick out his cake. He is really into dinasours this year..so his room is pretty pack full of all kinds of dinasours! He also got play-dough, basketball hoop, and a V-smile and tons of other stuff. He is one spoiled boy!

Spring is ALMOST here!

Shaving cream? Check! Cookie Sheets? Check! Cars? Check! Kids who want something different to do? Check!

We are running out of things to do around here. So we played with some shaving cream! After the initial.."I don't want to get dirty" they had alot of fun with it!

Sheesh..I need spring.....like right now!

Paige's Surgery

Almost two years in the making. We were hoping it wasn't going to come down to this but the VCUG back in November said she wasn't fully healed from it. So February 16 was her surgery. She was a champ! She did great. It was over so fast. She was in some pain for the rest of the day but by the next day..back to herself!

Our Mini Winter Vacation

One day I was online and went on Great Wolf Lodge's website. They were running a fantastic deal so I called Craig up and he said go for it! So in mid January we packed up and went to the Lodge for 2 nights. It was so much fun. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing. That kids loved it! I have two very active kids so this was the place for them! There favorite place was the hot tub and Paige loved the toddler pool. Evan got to stay in his own little room with bunkbeds and a tv. Paige got to sleep in her pack n play. The first night was rough but the second night went fine. We think by next year-she can sleep in the bottom bunk and Evan can sleep in the top. I highly recommend this place-just look for the deals. We also brought our own snacks and breakfast.
The kids still talk about it. In fact last night Evan told me he would be brave enough to go under the bucket next time we go! and Paige will ask to go back to the "water part" on a daily basis!

I am having the same problems with pics again...I will try again later

Smell Good???

Can you guess what Paige likes to do with her new markers she got for Christmas. This girl smells EVERYTHING! Good thing they are washable

Christmas 08!

Christmas..my favorite time of the year. I love the decorations, getting the tree, decorating the tree, buying and wrapping presents, baking and everything else that goes along with Christmas. I had my parents over for Christmas Eve and it was my first time doing a huge dinner for us all. Everything was going perfect until I drop the entire green bean casserole on the ground and it shattered the dish and made a huge mess. Oh and I forgot the fruit salad..it was in the fridge. Outta sight...outta mind. There is always next year!

I love the pictures of the kids in front of the tree. This is what I get when I hold up my camera...we should work on that:)

Sweet Baby Boy

Our good friends had thier first baby on Dec 17. Jaxon Edwin Schollaart!! He is so adorable! These were taken when he was 2 weeks and I will be going tonight to take his 3 month pictures. Time goes by too fast!!
